My six string hamer axe is scalloped and yes, it does help you develop a lighter and sensitive touch to your playing. That in turn does help you play a little faster if you tend to play hard with your fretting hand.Bending is easier and the feeling is strange at first but you get used to it. It has help me become a better tech player. I must say that having my seven string scalloped is really nice and it really looks nice too!  |
