this is just a question of curiosity but who owns/has ordered/will order a graphic guitar from dbz? i know im one of the infamous orderers of a dbz sepulchre but is there anyone else who still has an order??

Getting a BoP Radioactive, ordered from Carlino. Probably will have a go at the 18v mod, if it has the same battery container as the Barchetta does though that will be interesting. Won't be able to put the second battery in the same place. Doubt I'll be keen to go hacking up a new guitar either so some interesting wiring may be in order

I still am wiating on the watchers venom I ordered from Carlino. Its been about 16 months now and I'm still excited to get it. I have been deployed for much of the time though so it kinda helps the whole patience thing

I`ve also ordered that Sepulchure model. Cant wait for that! :D

welcome to the forum! and yeah doesnt seem like too many people have their eyes on a graphic here...are graphics a dying breed?
and holy hell 16 months??? that is insane im between like 7 and 8 months and ive almost lost hope (though im looking forward to it) but if you can wait 16 months i should stop complaining lol

I am in the 16 month range also for a BOP radioactive/ whatever its called now. I really am mentally drained of this subject though.

Wow, my week just keeps on getting better and better, find out i havent lost my drivers license, line 6 studio gx arrived, now my headphones AND the graphics are shipping. I think I am going to be walking around grinning like an idiot for a few months now!

I needed some good news - me & the family are stuck in Holland thanks to a certain volcano en route home to the UK from South America. At least I've got something to look forward to.

Although if it's air freight, the guitar ain't going nowhere either!

And yes, I'll probably make the removable mod adaptor and A/B the choices. If I find a use for the 9v option I'll install a switch, otherwise it'll be one or the other.

Might even post clips if you ask nicely.

It looks like "the fix" was what I guessed. They took the graphics off the contoured edges and multiple levels. The graphic is only on the top. They must have had to fix previously made guitars. By the serial number, that guitar was made in October 2009.

Check out the BoP with the "neonlights", looks very awesome to have a BoP with that colorscheme if you ask me!

I wonder why this one is being priced so low compared to all the others - perhaps it is flawed in some way? You'd think a graphic would be in much higher demand. I see this one is made in china. I'm not a fan for how dull the graphic looks - instead of it looking bright and glossy, it looks faded and matte.

Curious to see how the Korean graphics look.

Gearhounds say my guitar is due with them for checking at the end of the week, then it comes to me - subject to teutonic activity I presume.

Knowing the seller and how they do business, it would not surprise me one bit if it was a repaired previously screwed up one that should be a 2nd and they aren't telling you while trying to sell as a 1st quality new guitar. The last guitar I bought from then as "new" was a used guitar.

Yeah, something seems fishy about that price - it's like a couple hundred less than that guitar typically sells for.

I bought a brand new Gibson Hummingbird Acoustic from an autorized Gibson dealer for a grand less than MF. And judging from what i know abobut the guitar it is the real deal. Some people are just more egar to make a sale. Maybe they haven't applied the new pricing bucause of a moron attack idk but I highly doubt Dean letting a guitar with issues pass through QC especially with his first launch of graphics he has a lot of preorders waiting and that's potentaly alot of bad press that he can't afford to get out right now. Check out the topic where the guy got his BOP and all it had was some neck adjustment issues. Dean Is serious about makeing quality instruments, that's obviously clear and I belive that if someone buys it and has an issue with it Dean will take care of it and make things right. Just my 2 cents.

yeah DBZ is one of those companies that i feel that it doesnt matter who you buy from, if something is up he will personally see it taken care of. with another company i woulnt trust buying a guitar without hands on experience, but with dean at the helm i know whether its from tmf, carlino, or whoever it will be a great guitar, and if someone screws you and sends you a sh**ty guitar he will set it straight.

I'm not sure why Dean is being brought into this. I wasn't bashing on him. More so questioning the store that is selling it. They have other matte vemons priced higher. So it makes me question why this guitar is priced so low. I highly doubt it's just a typo - lol. Either it's flawed, not actually new, or perhaps it's a last run from china they need to dump off on some unsuspecting buyer or something - who knows. I think it's a valid concern. I'd probably have an interest in buying it myself if the graphic didn't look so dull.

Well it may be a run from last year that as being one of last year's guitars must be priced with year's pricing. And I only brought Dean up because after all his name is on the guitar.

If that were the case then wouldn't all of last years guitar prices significantly drop as this one did?

And I heard that the prices are going up on these, not down.

if ya look close it is still on the multiple levels, and to a degree on the edges just not as pronounced as origionally designed, not sure what this does for the graphic but the fetures are deffnately still there
