Where are the import DBZ's made?

I don't have issues with Korean or Japanese (I've actually swapped out OFR's in favor of Gotoh Floyd's) made guitars but I take serious exception to anything Chinese made.

I really like my Shadow ML and I'm really interested in a Black Bird Of Prey, But if it's Chinese I'm not touching it.

Understand, I'm not trying to offend anyone but Chinese products are s***, period. That goes double for guitars.
It freaking kills me to see so many of the Dean DIME series made in China now, Especially the DFH which was AMAZING when it was made in Korea.

Anyway, Good luck Dean!

Daedolon -
There is way more to it than the country of origin.
Guitar companies have to choose good partners overseas.
Based on quality - not price!

I had very little to do with imports at the previous company. I spent most of my
time with USA Guitars, Marketing, Sales and Artist Relations. As for imports, I would just
put out fires and work out details when they needed expertise on building.
I did not choose the factories, did not spec the guitars.

Most importantly, I am traveling back and forth overseeing my production.
Guitar maker to Guitar maker works way better than guitar maker to bean counter.

Our imports are coming from China.
Bird of Preys are made in the #1 quality factory in China...
The other brand you mentioned does not have any guitars built in this facility.

However, if you are still not comfortable, there is always USA made Bird of Prey!!!
They are going into production next week.
If guitar playing is important to you, I suggest you get the best.

Thank you very much for the reply! I think I'll end up going with A custom US Model With a Gotoh Floyd installed rather than an OFR. (if your company is up for such a thing.)

You did give me some peace of mind regarding your import line however, They are no longer out of the question. So when the time comes I'll make the comparisons myself before I make a final decision. (I think I'll still end up with Chicago Axe but I'll give the import a fair shake.)

Again, thank you!
